We had the privilege of going to Moab once again this year and oh did we have fun!

We look forward to this little getaway ever year, here is a re-cap of some of the festivities.

Do you ever have those times when you are driving to a specific destination and as you pass the little towns along the way you think. "Oh I wish that we had the time to stop and explore."

Well, okay you might not think like that but that is how my mind works! One of my dream vacations is to not have plans at all. Just drive and stop whenever and wherever we want...Oh how I would LOVE that! A couple weekends ago Bray and I did this little dream vacation of mine to an extent, we may have had a final destination in mind but we just drove and stopped whenever we felt like it along the way. It was such a fun day.

so we went to the town carnival and got ourselves sick on a ride

and of course we had to sample a few of Brigham's delicacies

You can bet there was a whole lot of people watching going on while we were there.

Can I just tell you that I have the greatest friends in the world! I cannot even begin to express how grateful and thankful I am for them. As most of you know Braydn and I have been stuck struggling with this one trial of ours for a long time. I am not a very open person when it comes to my feelings and struggles so it has been a constant battle for me to express my emotions and what we are going through with anyone. However, my sweet friends have always been there offering their love and support. This past weekend they went above and beyond!

I just wanted to thank everyone who helped out, donated items, or came to the fundraiser it means the world to me and Bray. Never before have we felt so loved and supported. I wish that I could go around and personally thank every single one of you for your love and thoughtfulness, It is something I will never forget. Thank you for giving us hope and encouragement to move forward to try and tackle this bump in our road!
We LOVE you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

we finally ventured out to the zoo, which Bray has been dying to do for the past several years and we quite enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks babe for being so persistent on going to the zoo even if we couldn't find any staged kids to tag along with us so we could have fit in better!

P.S. speaking of my title...does anyone remember that show? it was CLASSIC.

"wanna be" granolas

We hiked to Havasupai in Arizona a couple of weeks ago and it was beautiful....once we got there. I don't think that Braydn and I were thinking when we decided to drive 10 hours to the middle of nowhere and then proceed to backpack all our belongings down switchbacks for 10+ miles in the middle of the night!

Lets just say my shoulders were already tensing up from carrying my "way to heavy of a pack" through the parking lot to get to the trail....not a good sign right?

It was quite a new experience for us, with the *help of our headlamps we could see a foot ahead of us....so needless to say we missed all the signs directing us to our destination and were lost following horse poop!

We walked aimlessly for an hour retracing our steps, had a close encounter with some red glowing eyes in the trees (come to find out there are tons of wild horses on the reservation..that would have been helpful to know) ran out of water, and almost had to amputate my toes.

We finally found camp for the few remaining hours of night. When we woke up we were greeted by a beautiful view of port-o-potties lined in a neat row in front of us...we must have been desperate to stop hiking!

*I said help of our headlamps but mine was pointless...all it did was attracted bugs to my face, it was wonderful.

Bray was carrying the leaning tower of Pisa on his back.

I wasn't kidding about amputating my toes...my shoes were too small so I had to improvise for the hike out!

Once we recovered it was beautiful and yes, I would do it all again! The water is crystal clear and there are waterfalls everywhere. It was beautiful everywhere you looked!

placed perfectly next to the beach.
