Here is what we came out with this year at the Rogers Easter Egg Hunt!

Yes, my hubby did win first place in the Hunt for finding his eggs the quickest. Here he is showing off the winning prize...(don't worry he was practicing all morning and he even made me do a couple test runs to see if I could run and pick up quick enough in a dress.) Ya, he is pretty competetive when it comes to games.

It was so fun to have all the family together this Easter!

Welcome Baby Elle

While my sister was a bit occupied this week having this sweet little girl.

Bray and I got to act as Mommy and Daddy to this cute boy!

So I guess that I am all about the tags lately. This one was pretty fun. Find 10 of your favorite pictures and explain why.

Here we are as innocent Seniors in High School. Little did we know what was coming our way!

This one has a funny story behind it. This is us when we were dating and decided to be adventurous and go biking. We took this picture towards the beginning of our journey and I am so mad we didn't take any after pictures. Bray decided to be funny and started swerving his bike into mine and we both ate it BIG time!! I was completely covered in bruises and scabs. It was quite the extreme bike ride.

We love to vacation in Lake Powell with the family every summer. This was taken right before Bray was about the pop the big question! (little did I know.)

This is one of my favorite engagement pictures. We got them taken at Geneva Steel after it had closed down and it was pretty creepy in some of the abandoned buildings. This picture was probably suppose to be of us kissing or striking a serious pose but we seemed to really struggle with those so this is what we ended up with.

Our Wedding day was awesome! It was better than I could have ever asked for!

This was on our Honeymoon in the Bahamas. I had seen a show on the Atlantis Hotel and always wanted to go there. On the second morning of our cruise this is what I woke up to! It was amazing!! Now I just need to go back and stay there.

This was also on our honeymoon and I thought that you might appreciate our faces. As you can tell we were thrilled to be swimming with the sting rays!

I love Summer nights and this was one of us just living up the summer life, watching fireworks with friends.

We went on Spring Break to Carlsbad California with Mike & Dyami and we got to take a tour of the Ranuculus Flower fields. It was beautiful!!

I thought that I would just throws these ones in. Aren't we so cute? This is pretty much how most of our pictures turn out since we are so photogenic and all!

And lastly here is some photos of our friends. We have the greatest friends and are able to do so many fun things with them. Here we are camping last summer and in California. (Don't worry Jessica posed us in that one that is why we look like we are at EFY)

1. What are you most afraid of? Ferrets (No just kidding!) But they do freak me out especially when they come running at you! Sick!
2. What is the most recent movie that you have seen in a Theater? We went last week to the dollar theatre and saw August Rush again! I love that movie!

4. Favorite food? Crab Legs Yum!!
5. What's your natural hair color? Is it sad that I have no idea? (Maybe an ugly shade of light brown.)

Christmas Mayhem!!

Wow!! What a Christmas! Things are always so hectic this time of year. Here are a few highlights of what we did. We are so lucky to have family and friends so close to us that we are able to share the holidays with. It seemed like we had a different event every night to go to for the last two weeks! Christmas day is always crazy trying to divide up our time to see everyone and to make it even more stressful for my sweet hubby it happens to be my birthday all in one day! (hey at least he will never forget it!) Thanks to everyone for making this christmas season so wonderful! We love you all!!

Gingerbread

So we did Gingerbread houses this year with the family and it was a lot of fun! However we did it the old school way and it was a lot harder than I thought when you don't have the kits and make it out of graham crackers. So like two hours later, a blister from the hot sugar, tons of broken graham crakers and not being able to put the candy on our house fast enough before someone ate it, this was all we came up with. I know we were not too creative and Bray wasn't really into after he cut all the pieces of tootsie roll for the roof. So maybe next year we will be more creative! As for us life is crazy for us this time of year but we are enjoying it! Hope that you all are having a great Holiday Season!!

Hard at Work!

For those of you that know me know that I have a serious problem! I am
constantly wanting to make and re-do everything! As soon as I finish one thing it is something else. I will just finish painting and I am ready to change it all and do it again. I love projects! Poor Bray gets stuck with all
the grunt work. He has gotten used to me bringing home junk and having all these ideas as to how we can make it look good. I can't stop! So I thought
that I would dedicate a post of my hubby hard at work on yet another project for me and tell him THANK YOU for putting up with me and all my projects!












Here he is in action hard at work! (secretly I think that he likes it because he feels manly using his power tools!) So really I am just helping him put his tools to good use. Right? That is a good way to justify it.

Lava

We went to Lava Hot Springs for the weekend with the Flakes. It is such a little town! I can't even imagine what you would do there if you lived there!! The town was so cute and old. It made us feel like we went back in time. One hotel was even advertising that they had COLOR TV can you believe it!! I know it must have been a state of the art hotel. We had a lot of fun though! Thanks Flakes for a fun weekend getaway!!

Happy Halloween!!

We had our annual Halloween party at the Maughans this year. It was so fun to see everyone and their crazy costumes! This year Bray and I were struggling to find a costume so if you can't tell we were pretty desperate. We ended up being a UPS worker and a box. (Yes, lucky me! I got to be the box!) But we must have been more creative than we thought because we tied for 1st place in the costume contest! We also did some pumpkin carving with the Olsen fam. Dax was loving playing with all the pumpkin guts. Hope you all have a Happy Halloween!!

*Going through the ackward stage of Junior High.
*Probably crushing on Braydn (I had a major crush on him in Junior High!)
*Thinking that cheerleading was my life!

*Wearing overalls at least twice a week! (They were so comfortable!)

*Going to Snow College and having the weirdest roomates ever!
*Taking the long drive home every weekend with Sara from Ephraim. ( I am still not sure why we went there to school!)
*Went to Wal-Mart at least twice a day because that was all there was to do at Snow.
*Living off Beef Jerky and Diet Coke. (Healthy I know!)
*Probably gained the freshmen 15lbs from the Beef Jerky and Diet Coke.

5 Things I was doing 1 year ago:
*Living in a 100 year old apartment in Sandy. (Seriously 100 years old.)
*Deciding that we could completely remodel our apartment. (Wow, it was a lot of work.)
*Making frames every extra second I had for a boutique.
*Buying our place!!
*Deciding all the things I wanted to do to our new place. (I am sure Bray was thrilled.)

Moab

For Fall Break we made our way down to Moab with the Fam. It was the yearly get away for the Olsen crew. We had a blast checking out all the little shops, going to the gem show, hiking to Delicate Arch and biking good ol' Slick Rock. We want to give a big THANKS to Mommy and Daddy Olsen for a sweet weekend!

Park City

We went to Park City for the weekend and it was freezing!! It was snowing!! It was a lot of fun though just to get away for a weekend. We stayed in this REALLY nice place and we both were laughing at how out of place we felt with all the bell boy services and amenities. It was fun to pretend like we fit in there even if it was just for the weekend! Oh well back to reality!

Happy 2 Years!!

WOW!! 2 years have gone by! I can't believe all of the things that we have done in the past 2 years! I love to look back at our wedding pics and reminisce on how awesome that day was!! I couldn't be married to a more amazing person! He makes my world!! I love ya Bray! Happy 2 years!!
